Island Fever

I bought this dress from H&M while we were doing some shopping in dowtown Palma. I realized that I've been to an H&M in almost every place that I've traveled to: San Francisco, New York, Rome, Mallorca and Hawaii. So either H&M is everwhere, or I have a shopping problem. (It's probably both).

Something Fancy

I started off with this black maxi, and without realizing it, I turned my outfit into something kind of fancy. I added some cute lace-up heels (courtesy of my sister's closet) and braided in some extensions (extensions and braiding also courtesy of my sister lol). Having the extensions actually made me miss my long hair...until I remembered how much work long hair was :/ But my hair is in that in-between length right now...so I have been thinking of growing it out again. Just kidding. I'm lazy. I'm sticking with short hair (for now).

Also, random fact to share: I finished a whole book this weekend!! I used to read all the time when I was younger but I stopped reading a few years ago because it was difficult to find a book that kept my attention. Plus, I was always so tired from work, that I would fall asleep the minute--literally, the minute--I started reading. But this weekend I decided to start a book, rather than start watching something on Netflix. I found "The Girl on the Train" and once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down! I've already started a list of books to read next :)

Palma de Mallorca

A couple of months ago I went to Mallorca with my sister for some R&R. Now I know what you're thinking, "where's Mallorca" and/or "how did you choose to go there??". Good question. I was originally planning on going to Madrid, but wanted some beach time as well. So after googling some of the best beaches of Spain/Europe, I came across pictures of the beautiful island of Mallorca. And boy, was I not disappointed.

I didn't really know what to expect, but I fell in love with Mallorca instantly. The beaches, the coves, the architecture, the towns, the culture, the food, the PASTA, and did I mention the food? Yeah, it was all amazing. I definitely hope to make it back someday.

Summer Breeze

Happy Tuesday! I shot this romper from Zelle Boutique with my sister over the 4th of July weekend. I pretty much had a staycation since I stayed with my family over the long weekend (and slept on a couch one too many times lol). And speaking of family, Zelle Boutique was actually started by twin sisters! I think that is super sweet:) This romper is part of the new arrivals and everything from the shop is under $30! And even better you can use the code "lifewithjazz20" for 20% off the site :)

Happy July!

Thanks for visiting my first official blog post!! I have a lot of extra pictures I've been wanting to share, so I figured my own blog would be the best place! It's definitely a work in progress so stay tuned for more content. I'll definitely have some travel pics coming this way!
I stumbled across this shirt in my sister's closet, and since I loved the shirt so much, I decided to wear it for my first post. This is the kind of shirt you can throw on with anything and it works (which actually I did since I threw it over my swim suit:).
